Full bespoke office joinery package for a DIFC executive office fit-out — including a custom executive desk, integrated wall panelling, built-in bookcase and credenza, and a full reception counter in …
View SpecificationsThis DIFC commercial project required a complete bespoke joinery package to match an executive-level interior design scheme. The scope covered four key elements: a large-format executive desk with integrated cable management and stone inlay, a full-height walnut veneer wall panel system with integrated bookcase, a credenza with concealed printer and filing storage, and a curved reception counter in matching walnut with brushed steel trim. All pieces were designed as part of one cohesive scheme and fabricated entirely in-house to the specified tolerances and finishes.
This was a full millwork programme — every piece of joinery in the office was designed and built as part of a single resolved scheme.
The reception area had limited floor space and a curved counter was specified for flow — requiring precise geometry, internal structure, and a CNC-cut veneer face to achieve the correct radius and seamless finish.
The desk needed to house power, data, and AV connections for two workstations while maintaining a completely clean, clutter-free surface aesthetic.
The joinery installation needed to follow — and in some areas precede — other trades, requiring precise scheduling and on-site coordination to avoid rework and delays.
The counter's curved form was CNC-cut from a layered MDF substrate to the exact radius, then veneered with consecutively matched walnut sheets to maintain grain continuity around the full curve.
A bespoke desktop module with a recessed pop-up power unit and hidden under-desk cable tray was built directly into the desk structure — keeping the surface completely clean.
We co-ordinated directly with the main contractor on a phased joinery delivery schedule — wall panelling and fixed millwork first, then freestanding pieces after flooring and MEP completion.
We reviewed the interior design drawings, resolved all joinery interfaces with structure and MEP, and produced fabrication drawings for client and contractor approval.
Walnut veneer batches were selected and graded for colour consistency. Stone inlay for the desk was specified. All hardware — handles, hinges, and steel trims — were confirmed.
All millwork pieces were fabricated in-house — CNC cutting, assembly, veneer application, finishing, and hardware pre-fitting. The reception counter curve was built and pre-checked before delivery.
Installation was carried out in two phases — fixed wall joinery and panelling first, followed by freestanding pieces. Full snagging was completed and signed off on-site.
The completed office joinery package delivered a cohesive, executive-quality interior — every bespoke piece working as part of one resolved scheme across the full office floor plan.
"Every piece of joinery in the office was made specifically for the space. The quality and the coordination were exceptional — it came together exactly as designed."
