Bespoke full-height TV wall unit and coordinating living room storage for a Jumeirah villa — featuring an integrated media wall, floating shelves, concealed AV routing, and matching side credenzas in …
View SpecificationsThe client wanted a living room joinery scheme that felt intentional and high-spec — not a standard TV unit, but a full architectural media wall that anchored the space. The design combined a recessed TV panel with flanking open shelving, integrated ambient lighting, and a base run of closed storage. All AV cabling was routed through concealed conduits within the joinery. Flanking credenza units in matching oak veneer tied the full scheme together. The result is a living room centrepiece that is both practical and a strong design statement.
The brief was simple: make it look like the wall was always meant to be this way. That's what the client got.
The client had a full home cinema setup with extensive AV equipment. All cables, conduits, and the media hub needed to be completely hidden within the joinery with accessible service panels.
Natural oak veneer was book-matched across the full TV wall, requiring careful sequencing of veneer sheets during production to maintain a continuous grain pattern.
The unit needed to provide both display and hidden storage without the composition feeling cluttered or breaking up into separate pieces visually.
We built an internal conduit network within the unit structure, with two flush-fit access hatches at the rear base for equipment management — completely invisible when closed.
Veneer sheets were sequenced and mapped across the full TV wall prior to production, then cut and applied in order to achieve a visually continuous grain across the entire width.
All joinery sections — TV recess, shelving, base units, and side credenzas — were designed on a shared proportional grid, keeping the full scheme feeling resolved and architectural.
We worked with the client's AV contractor to map all equipment and cabling needs before starting the joinery design, ensuring everything was incorporated from day one.
Oak veneer was selected, graded, and mapped for book-matching. Lacquer colours for recessed panels, shelving interiors, and back panels were confirmed.
Carcasses were built and veneered in sequence. AV conduit channels were routed prior to assembly. LED profiles were set into shelving faces before final finishing.
The full unit was installed, all AV cabling routed and tested through the internal conduits, LED lighting commissioned, and the full installation snagged on-site.
The completed TV wall and living room joinery scheme transformed the main living space into a resolved, design-led environment — functional, practical, and visually strong as a room centrepiece.
"It completely transformed the living room. It looks like a proper architectural feature now — not just a TV unit. Every cable is hidden and everything works perfectly."
